aardonyx present us with their debut EP on Sub-Label Recordings, showcasing a rich tapestry of synth work, pulsating bass and punchy drums, in their signature Drum and Bass sound.

This three track EP starts with the title track - Oxygen, a spacious yet driving track which sets the tone for the rest of the music to come. The arpeggiators dance around the stereo field while tape machine delay noises and percussion create an ambient backdrop.

The Rhythm of the Drum shows us a more rhythmical side of aardonyx with counter rhythms and shuffles weaving in and around the ambient pad and solid bass.

The EP closes with Find the Space, another deep journey in to the more abstract side of aardonyx, their love of synthesisers, textures and found sounds.
